In our culture we are willing to work hard at our jobs, sports, and hobbies, but we are not very willing to work at studying the Bible and serving Jesus. In Exodus 26 we learn the Israelites put forth a lot of time and effort to build the tabernacle, set it up, tear it down, and carry it through the wilderness. It was appropriate for them to do that because Yahweh deserves it and He is worth it. Since God deserves that kind of effort, we Christians should be willing to put forth a lot more time and effort to learn the Bible, learn about God, and serve Jesus.
