In 21st century Christianity we talk a lot about God’s love, grace, and forgiveness. We emphasize what Jesus did for us, particularly the free gift of salvation. These things are true; however, God is also strict and demanding. He has very high standards. We see this throughout the Bible. One example is Exodus 33. God promised to give the promised land to the Israelites, but He also threatened to leave them because of their sin. Learn more in the following video:
