It’s easy to become discouraged by all the darkness we see in our world. There are shootings, depression, lawlessness, and discord. Exodus 27 provides a picture of why we can always have hope. The priests maintained a perpetual lamp inside the tent of meeting to keep light inside the holy place even when it was dark outside. 1 John tells us God is light, and in Him is no darkness.
